I bought this item with the hopes of slimming my waist. Unfortunately I could not wear this vest past the first day. It caused me to develop a horrific rash all over my back and under my bust. The rash is scaly red and terribly itchy. I went to the doctor and they said I had an allergic reaction called contact dermatitis. I will not be able to use the vest that cost me almost $100 to receive. I am terribly disappointed and upset. The fabric used for this item needs to be changed. I don't know what they make it out of but its terrible for your skin. My coworker purchased a waist cincher along with my vest and she had the same reaction although she developed hematomas on her lower back along with the same itchy rash I had. The material reminds me of a tire driving across my back. I would NOT recommend these items to my worst enemies.
Response from customer service: I'm sorry to hear about your experience. The only materials used in this garment are cotton and rubber, cotton on the inside and rubber on the outside. If you have an allergy to either of these materials you should definitely not wear the Miracle Vest.

Miracle vest

The vest is very interesting. Relatively comfortable to wear for about 5hrs at a time. I haven't had enough consecutive days in a row to wear it any see results. Mybbiggest complaint is the way it fits around my back. Right where the scapula are, it bulges out despite shortening the straps which dig into the front of your arms even when loosened. I purchased an XS which is the correct size for me at 5'3" and about 120lbs.

So I got a tummy tuck and lipo done on my flanks and I have been wearing the binder for 3 weeks, but I'm still swollen. So a neighbor told me to get a vest and wear at day and night. After googling and reading reviews, I chose this one. Thank god I did! At this point I fit into a dress size 10, but I wanted it to be really tight, so I ordered a small. Thank god I did!! It fits tight and perfect!! Love it
